Cabbage

The Cabbage Leather Coral (Sinularia dura) earns its name with broad, ruffled lobes that layer across the rockwork like a head of ornamental cabbage — usually in soft greens, creams, and tans that contrast beautifully with brighter neighbors. Like all leathers it's wonderfully hardy: moderate light, moderate flow, and routine water changes are all it needs to spread steadily. Expect the occasional shedding cycle where the coral closes and sloughs a waxy film — completely normal, and good flow clears it in a day or two.
