Lobophyllia

Lobophyllia — the mighty "Lobo" brain coral — brings huge, cushiony lobes of flesh in saturated reds, oranges, and metallic teals that look spectacular from every angle. These Australian showpieces are wonderfully undemanding: settle them on the sand bed or low rockwork in low-to-moderate light with gentle flow, and their fleshy mantles will inflate to double the skeleton's size. Feed meaty foods after lights-out, when their feeding tentacles emerge, to fuel noticeably faster tissue expansion.
