Pagoda

The Pagoda Cup Coral (Turbinaria) is one of the most architectural — and most forgiving — stony corals you can keep. Its swirling cups, scrolls, and tiers add instant vertical drama, and its fuzzy polyps extend day and night to give the whole structure a soft, living texture. Pagodas tolerate a wide range of lighting (moderate is ideal) and appreciate good flow angled to keep detritus from settling in the cups. They're peaceful, hardy, and a superb first "non-branching" stony coral.
