Product overview

Montipora corals are celebrated across the reefing community for their remarkable versatility and dazzling array of growth habits, ranging from expansive encrusting mats to intricate, multi-layered plating structures. Boasting vibrant shades of red, purple, blue, green, and orange, these fast-growing stony corals quickly establish stunning visual depth and architectural dimension in any marine aquarium.

Care & husbandry guidelines

To showcase their absolute best coloration, Montiporas thrive best under moderate to high illumination, while their adaptable nature allows them to handle a broad range of water flow from gentle movement to strong currents. While they rely significantly on photosynthetic energy from their zooxanthellae, routine target feedings of micro-plankton or specialized coral foods can accelerate growth rates and deepen their pigmentation. Because they prefer clean systems with stable parameters, maintaining consistent water quality and adequate spacing from aggressive tankmates will ensure these specimens flourish into breathtaking centerpieces.

Color Accuracy & Your Tank

By utilizing a targeted custom white balance, our photos closely mirror what you will see under a clean, balanced blue-leaning reef spectrum.

Keep in mind that corals are living organisms; their appearance can naturally shift from tank to tank depending on your specific water parameters, nutrient levels, lighting spectrum, and flow patterns. We strive to provide honest, dependable photos you can trust so your new coral looks right at home from day one.
